About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Privacy Consultant to join CliniQPath's growing network of specialized professionals.

This role is suited to someone who understands how privacy legislation, organizational policy, data governance, technology, and real-world operations intersect.

You'll support privacy-focused projects that may involve healthcare information, government programs, research data, digital platforms, multi-stakeholder environments, and emerging technologies.

Depending on the engagement, you'll work with organizational leaders, privacy teams, legal and policy professionals, technology teams, researchers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to identify privacy risks and develop practical approaches for managing them.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic privacy guidance and advice to clients and project teams.

• Conduct and/or support Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).

• Identify privacy risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.

• Develop, review, and update privacy policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance documentation.

• Support the development and review of data-sharing and information-sharing agreements.

• Interpret privacy requirements and translate them into practical organizational processes.

• Support privacy program development, implementation, and continuous improvement.

• Develop privacy breach response procedures, guidelines, and supporting resources.

• Support privacy considerations associated with health information, research data, digital systems, and emerging technologies.

• Advise on data minimization, access, retention, disclosure, anonymization, and responsible information use.

• Collaborate with legal, technology, security, research, policy, and operational stakeholders.

• Develop privacy education, training, communication materials, and practical job aids.

• Participate in stakeholder meetings, working groups, committees, and privacy reviews.

• Support organizations in embedding privacy considerations into programs, projects, technologies, and organizational decision-making.

• Monitor evolving privacy legislation, regulatory guidance, technology, and data-governance practices.

A bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.

For senior Privacy Consultant opportunities, candidates should ideally bring 5+ years of demonstrated professional privacy experience, including hands-on experience providing privacy guidance and developing or reviewing Privacy Impact Assessments, privacy policies, and data-sharing or information-sharing agreements.
